I have been thinking the last few days as I get all my older works out and ready to be put onto auction.
Although Etsy is a really fantastic marketplace to be I have realised that all of my promoting and marketing my art has been for Etsy and no where else, I have focused my attention too much on the one venue. It is this realisation that has caused me to rethink.
I will be going back to ebay for a time, which means no listing new items on etsy or relisting/renewing. I am not closing my Etsy store, it will still be there but it will not have any items in it once all of my current listings expire.
Obviously if customers want an artwork that is still available i will list it on etsy especially for them as a reserved listing or undergo commissions via etsy if people so wish. I just will not be actively adding work there.
Ok so with all that out in the open on with the rest of the post:
I have managed to find a minor problem with what I previously mentioned - with regards to the finished paintings I hope to acheive per week, at the moment i think 10 is a pretty big ask and although I will still be striving for this I am going to have to hold off on that amount due to school holidays, so after the easter break I will really get my butt in and get these paintings done.
Ok so I have also been going through past artworks for ones that will be put on Ebay for auction.
Here they are for the first week:
Orchid Faery
Poison Ivy
Bitten By Moonlight
Fools Gold
Autumn Faery

The first 3 have been listed already, I hope to have the other 2 listed by tonight or tomorrow, these 2 will be $0.99 Auctions.
So to vote on the 2nd week of auctions have a look below:
WEEK TWO AUCTIONS
Erotic Faerie- Pinup Original Painting
Dark Desire - ORIGINAL Erotic Fantasy Painting
Sleeping Faerie Fairy ORIGINAL artwork
Majikk On The Pond - Original Artwork by Lindsay Cheesewright
Seahorse Lady - ORIGINAL Mermaid Painting
I will be adding the images to them to refresh your memory as to which artwork is which next post.
My motivation for this as mentioned in last post is not money, it is clearing out older works and decluttering, also there is a phsycological issue, that by selling my older works it will help me to focus on my art that I am doing now and not be held back by everything that is still here.
So please help out by voting on the $0.99 auction, don't forget to tell all your friends and if you are not already following my blog I advise that you do so you can find out when the auctions start.
